Chemicalrubber
First of all, thank you everyone on Insanelymac for all these info and help to make our Hackintosh experience much better over the years. This is my second hackintosh, recently I've tried to install Leopard (iPC 10.5.6) on an Acer Travelmate 4720, the install seemed fine and I chose the relevant drivers for the system, but after finish installing and rebooting and loading the kexts, i can see the grey apple logo but boots into a black screen which changes colour to grey and back again. Everything is blank but with the mouse cursor. Tried safe mode and it works, but not in normal mode. Any advice? Thanks. Chemicalrubber
Video chipset is Intel GMA 950 Express but couldn't find a fix yet. Tried to use the iATKOS v5i flavour instead, but it didn't work out, stuck on 'still waiting for root device' this time. Chemicalrubber
Sorted out the 'still waiting for root device' by installing all the SATA drivers available, but the wireless (Intel Pro 3945) doesn't work. I understand that there are no drivers available and the only possible drivers are under development in iwidarwin, but I swear that the 3945 driver that came with iPC 10.5.6 worked perfectly. Any way to get the kext outta the iPC installer?
