So, I will be building my own rig soon, and I'm looking at a 9800 GTX+. I'm just wondering what Kext's I would need, or if I could just use GraphicsEnabler=Yes? Also, I would like to get a wireless PCI card to connect up to my router. I've been looking around but I haven't found a lot of PCI cards that work natively with SL(Need's to be recognized as an Airport Card. No kext's or anything.) Any suggestion's?

Thanks.

Ah, I would but there's a few problems with that. For one, I like 64bit(No, I love 64bit.) and I don't want to install any kext's. For 64bit, you have to install kext's. :/ Two, I'm going to be getting the gigabyte ga-p55m-ud2, and since the 9800 GTX+ I'm going to be getting is double wide, it's going to cover a PCI port, and be right next to the other. With a card that high, it would cover the fan on the 9800. Honestly, I'll probably be getting this:

It works natively and is recognized as an airport card. It's also the right height.

So, I'm still wondering what kext's I will need to install for the GTX+?

one should not need any kexts with Nvidia G92/G92b based GPUs (8800GT/8800GTS/9800GT/9800GTX+/GTS 250) under snow leopard, graphicsenabler=yes should be enough.

One caveat tho, apparently 10.6.2 introduces a new bug with the Nvidia drivers.

Many people are experiencing a black screen during boot with some of these cards, caused by the windowserver process hanging just before the OS finishes booting.

The issue can be solved by rolling back two nvidia driver kexts to their previous 10.6.1 version, which apparently can be done from chameleon's extras/extensions/ folder.

I'm sure someone will come up with a better fix, but for now it works.
