OryanGWBaker
I've been trying to install OSx86 on my Acer Aspire D250-1026 for about a week now and I can't seem to get past one certain point... I insert the disk, press F12, choose my external DVD drive, press F8, and put in "cpus=1 -v -f" (minus the quotation marks), and always seem to freeze at: Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleACPIThermal" has no explicit kernel dependency; using version 6.0 It freezes there for a long time. I read it takes 5-10 minutes, but I waited 30 minutes multiple times before shutting down. Can anyone at all please help me? Oryan G.W. OryanGWBaker
Can anyone help me please? I honestly don't know what else to do. Should I try with -x for safemode? Do you have access to another machine running Leopard 10.5.x I think you might have better luck installing iDeneb and use a usb drive vs trying to use DVD. Much faster.
