dpmotley
Hi everybody! I have bought a new motherboard for my PC - AsRock G43Twins-FullHD and try to install Snow leopard Universal v3.6. It dosn't work. The installation stops at the start. The last line in verbose mode is: AppleDecrypt: Starting... I have tried to install iDeneb v.1.5.1 (OSX 10.5.7). It installs, but will not start after reboot. The last lines in verbose mode are: Mac framework successfully initialized Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers. Does anybody have any suggestions what I have to do or may be some experience with the same motherboard? Thanks! LFernandoCG
Hello, I'm using Snow Leopard 10.6.2 Universal too, and I get the same starting error. I found that adding a flag calling "arch=i386" in the com.apple.Boot.plist file with the terminal fixed for me. In my case I edit the file from windows because I don't know how to do it in the terminal, so I use Macdrive in windows to see the mac hd partitions, search the file in the mac partition, adding extension txt, add flag and erase the extension and restarting from snow leopard voila, it works. Updating, after installing Chameleon RC4 you can erase the arch=i386.
