WoodroweBones
Well I had a post from before that didnt get any replies and ended up figuring out most stuff on my own. I can get OSx booting just fine with my setup with a few issues still remaining. I did the install with AHCI enabled. When installing using iAtkos v7, you need to use customize and select the following: - OHR - This is the OpenHaltRestart extension that allows the OS to shutdown/restart properly - Video Card driver - I have a Radeon 3870 and unless I installed the ATI HD driver I would just get a garbled screen - AHCI/Jmicron - Enable both of these Now this will get it booting without issue and the onboard ethernet appears to work (I use wireless). Now my biggest remaining issue is that it wont detect my PCI devices. If I run OSx86Tools it will list my PCI card but the Mac OS wont see it. If I could get PCI working my wireless card would likely work as well. I have tried using the CardBus option but it still wont find it. My other issue is sound. I tried the guides I found when googling the ALC888 chipset but they dont work for me. I'm retrying with Azalia Sound right now. Hopefully it will work. My Wireless card is an MSI PC54G3 which is a ralink RT2561 chipset. There are drivers on the ralink site but I think the issue is that the OS wont see the PCI card at all. Would using EFI solve this?
