sparkyboy22 Posted December 6, 2009 Share Posted December 6, 2009 Having Issue with dual boot with Windows 7 and OSX Windows 7 installed iDeneb 1.5.1 (i think) was the 10.5.7 one to second partition on same drive Rebooted Neither booted Used GParted CD and set boot back to Windows 7's extra partition Windows 7 Booted Used EasyBCD 1.7.2 and added OSX Choose OSX from dual boot menu and get error about \NST\nst_mac.mbr OXc000000f The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt. EasyBCD info: Entry #1 Name: Windows 7 Home Premium (recovered) BCD ID: {current} Drive: C:\ Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe Windows Directory: \Windows Entry #2 Name: NST Mac OS X BCD ID: {b10daf6f-c4f6-11de-9a2e-e0008c03ae99} Drive: \Device\HarddiskVolume1 Bootloader Path: \NST\nst_mac.mbr Can anyone tell me what I have missed or done wrong? Lord_Jeremy Posted December 7, 2009 Share Posted December 7, 2009 Interesting. Your bootloader may have been wiped out by the update. Can you explain how you updated to 10.5.7? If you used a distro I'm willing to bet that it installed a different bootloader. I installed from the iDeneb 1.5.1 disk, I didnt select anything other than the graphics drivers as this is my first attempt and wasnt sure what else I needed to add. I havent done anything to update to .7 Is that where I have gone wrong?
