aetneerg
"Remember to use Disk Utility from the menu to partition the virtual disk before progressing into the installer." How do I do this? I follow Donk's guide and I get OSX into the installer menu but when I try to go and install there are no virtual hard disk detected to install on. Explain? *EDIT* Never mind, you just go to the menu bar on top. This OS is so clumsy lol, I thought they would let you partition and format first before anything. aetneerg
... and I thought you need brain to install Mac OS. 99,99% of people here should go to reading course and get this manual ! I read the manual, but when the instructions are not specific and clear and written vaguely I don't expect to be able to mind read what someone else knows. Donk said "Disk Utility" from the menu, for all I know it could've been a DOS menu in the boot options, a menu than can be triggered by passing parameters i.e. Linux or anything else possible. Had Donk said menu bar I would've known it's a GUI menu I should be looking for, menu bar != menu. A lot of manuals and guides are written in a way that the author assumes or expects you to know certain things already. BTW, this is my first time working with OSX so I'm not familiar with the install procedures. Zenith432
This OS is so clumsy lol, I thought they would let you partition and format first before anything. It's because owners of real Macs don't normally install on an empty disk. They upgrade an existing system that came preinstalled.
