Distriker
Hello, I am a new member of this community. I am Spanish and my english isn't very good, I wait that this will don't a problem. Still, I don't install the iAtkos, because I go to formate my notebook and install three OS, Windows XP, iAtkos v7, and Ubuntu Studio. Ubuntu Studio is the last in the installation of the OS, the grub only have Windows XP and Ubuntu, but iAtkos don't show in the Grub, a big problem. In Foros del Web, Cesarelunico27 says me that it's possible for put iAtkos in the grub it's this process: Open the terminal Write this: sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst In this file write this: title Mac OS X Leopard - root (hd0,2) After I must continue in the terminal and write this: makeactive And then this: chainloader +1 But he says that the text in the step three is for MAC OS X Leopard and he dosn't know if this text is for iAktos v7. Is it the same text for iAtkos v7? Greetings P.D. One question, Where is the presentation forum or the off-topic forum? Lord_Jeremy
That sounds right. I'm familiar with grub menu.lst files but I've never tried adding Mac OS X to them. You can probably try that. As long as you have a LiveCD or LiveDVD handy to revert the changes, there's no danger of any permanent problem. If you find that you can't boot from your hard drive after making the changes, use the LiveCD to boot up and edit the menu.lst file again.
