Jaykob Posted November 30, 2009 Share Posted November 30, 2009 Hi, I recently installed iATKOS v7 on my old (about 5 years old) Compal CL56 notebook. It is a white-label notebook also sold by acer as Travelmate 290. It has the following specs: - Pentium M 1.7Ghz w/ 1MB L2 Cache - 1GB DDR-RAM - ATI Mobility 9700 Radeon w/ 128MB - Intel 2200BG WLAN Pretty much everything runs smooth except of the touchpad and keyboard. At the beginning everything works, but after using the touchpad for a while, it suddenly stops responding. The keyboard then also doesn't respond anymore. When I use my Bluetooth mouse everything is fine and this doesn't happen. Does someone know the reason for this strange behaviour or what I could do to avoid it? Am I the only one with this problem? I got the same problem on any version. i think it's an acpi problem with the touchpad. if i use a usb mouse and the keyboard, the problem is gone. Check the box "Disable Touchpad if usb mouse..."
