greggh
I installed with the 10.4.6 goatsecx dvd. I chose the SSE3 only kernel. It is giving me nothing but trouble (the system is functional but a LOT of things crash.) Disk util is the worst thing that crashes. I need it. So, how do I replace that kernel with the default one (whatever is installed when you dont choose that option?) Any ideas? macprodan
Yeah, Type mach_kernel.old @ the darwin prompt and then edit your com.apple.boot.plist to point to that or do what you want too. greggh
Thanks for the quick response. That loads up the other kernel. Looks like that wasnt my problem though. Not sure what I broke. Time to re-install that box. No big deal.
