coolpepp
Is it possible to setup a functional virtual machine (or other emulator) to run osx on a pc to run Garageband? My computer has a 3ghz Inter Core Duo 2 with 4 gigs of ram. How well could garageband function? Could I get it to run smoothly with sound and usb instrument integration? How hard would that be? I already use VMware to run Linux. Would VMware be the best bet? Thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/200145-virtualize-garageband/ Share on other sites
radam
That should be fine. I currently run it on a 2.4GHZ core 2 duo and only 2gb of memory and it runs quite well although there is some slight stuttering of audio, but with you faster processor this probably wont happen and it will run even better! Yes VMware would be the best bet as it has the best support, thanks to Zenith432 and Donk.
