lectrcman
Since I have a new Core i7 MB the kernel in the 10.6.0 DVD doesn't support it but the one in 10.6.2 upgrade does. Is there a way to inject the files from the 10.6.2 upgrade into the 10.6.0 disk image and create a 10.6.2 DVD? i hope something like this hasn't been asked before. I have looked. I just might not have used the correct lingo.... cwestpha
If anyone has access to one of the new i5 or i7 iMacs then you can just use that install DVD image. I just hope you already have a legit Snow Leopard install DVD so you have at least paid for the OS. Beyond that Apple never has supported slipstreaming images like with how you can apply service packs on top of Windows CD images and burn an updated disc.
