netzen7
One of my favorite toolbox utilities, can't get a working compile on OSX 10.4.6 intel. libnet errors on intel? I see the bug is listed in darwinports, was wondering if anyone else had a workaround, or knew of another utility that works the same way? Thanks in advance. Rammjet
From MacOSX Finder: Go menu -> Utilities -> Network Utility -> Traceroute button or type traceroute in Terminal Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19969-osx86-tcptraceroute-working/#findComment-131297 Share on other sites
netzen7
Thanks, are you sure? I'm not after udp or icmp traceroute . . I need tcp traceroute. Allows tracing on tcp ports through firewalls using SYN packets. I use it to troubleshoot performance of WAN connections to secured websites. From what I see in the man pages, the tcp aspects of plain old traceroute aren't finished. In my playing with it, I haven't figured out a way to make it work for me anyway. lft is close, but again, not quite the same.
