Spent a couple of hours in the shed with anangle grinder, my old PC and my old, old G5. (just bought an 27" imac biggrin.gif). Had to butcher the back connection panel a tad but i'll make a surround for it when i get a chance. The system consists of an Gigabyte GA-EX38-DS5, Core 2 Quad 6700, 8 GB Kingston Hyper x DDR2 1066, Leadtek 8800GT, 3 x 500GB 7200RPM HDD's running Raid 0 with OSX 10.6.2 vanilla installed on the raid ;) and 2 x 22" asus monitors. It was a bit of a pain getting the DSDT patched correctly but all in all its a pretty nice Hack. runs very well at about 40C and never kernel panics.

Good job... shame about the back though with the cut up back panel. People leave them stock and use extenders for the connections, i think that looks better, but hey, its the back...

Care to post the psu specs, Watts and physical dimensions etc...

and... i like your desktop image... ive been lookinh for something like that for ages. Where can i find it?
