Alex HQuest
What about working audio in 64-bit? Your VoodooHDA does not contain code for x86_64, thus does not work on 64-bit.
tietze
Hi I've been working on getting my Asus P7P55D (core i5 750) working - it was pretty straight forward to get 10.6.2 up and running with the latest myhack install: myHack Installer 1.0 RC5.2 install options: com.apple.Boot.plist GraphicsDisabler Chocolate Kernel EvOreboot.kext FakeSMC.kext IONetworkingFamily.kext LegacyAppleRCT.kext NullPowerManagement.kext SleepEnabler.kext [*]update with 10.6.2 combo [*]enable mach_kernel [*]install VoodooHDA.kext into /System/Library/Extensions from the zipfile "P7P55D by dgeordgy21" above. (remember to rebuild Extensions.mkext!) Sound seems flaky - I've noticed that sometimes I have to turn off the computer completely (disconnect mains cable) before it is possible to get sound working in SL - or if rebooting into XP/Win7 afterwards! [edit: same thing experienced here: Wenn Sound nicht funktioniert einach den Rechner aus dem Netz ziehen oder Netzschalter ausschalten und wieder einschalten!] I've been fiddling with getting a DSDT.aml working for (bios revision 1207 - 2009/12/14). Removed LegacyAppleRCT.kext and NullPowerManagement.kext, but sleep, reboot & shutdown is not always working with the below DSDT.aml, it might be because I've not removed the EvOreboot.kext yet (?) and I've got no working video card either. Most remarks and warnings have been removed when compiling the DSDT.aml, but not all. If anyone can help with the remaining warnings and remarks, please do! LinK14
Do you try to install it with a DVD version ? Because it's more restricting to use a USB stick than to use a DVD. By the way, is someone have installed it with a DVD, which version is the best (Leo4all... or a retail version?). Thanks (I'm french too )
dreamefx
Hey everyone, When I begin to install the "MyHack" and start to customize it the screenshot in this tutorial shows something different then the screen I get. Max_Berlin
I tried several times to just start the installation of 10.6.3, I just come until the system tries to download the kernel and no further. I tried with cpus=1 busratio=21 The only one thing I suppose may be problematic is the grafic card, it is an ATI Radeon 5770 with one GB GDDR5 RAM, so I took the no graphics option ... any ideas ...? MigGat
Hi guys, I've been trying with the same setup as the tutorial, except for the graphics adapter which is a radeon HD 5750. MyHack has been updated so far to version 1.1. The problem is I can't get usb to but. I mean the boot loader loads, it allows me to press any key to got to the options, but when I try to boot from DVD (usb stick's partition name) the screen goes black and I can do nothing. I'm guessing it must be because of the graphics card, but I can't find any fix. Can somenone help me please? I've been trying for a loong time to do this with no success and this time i found a setup which is basically the same as mine.. i feel so close (btw, sorry for my english ) Edit: I finally managed to boot to step 6), and then.. kernel panic.. Any ideas what might be happening?

Nuphor
Guide worked great. Went for a combo update to 10.6.6 from 10.6, went okay, booted but then it froze at the desktop with a frozen cursor. Must have a look into fixing this tonight.
