1. Hi everyone. I managed to install Sqnow Leopard from a retail dvd, using #####-ATI (from tonymac's) and with a lot (really, a LOT) o tries, got my graphics card working just fine (Radeon HD 5750). However, i can only boot from #####-ATI cd :S I tried many options in ##### but none worked. Any idea what might be happening? I keep gettin this message: ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out ...and wait forever.. Thanks in advance BTW, this is my hardware: MB: Asus P7P55D PRO (latest bios) Processor: Intel™ Core i7 860 2.80GHz RAM: 2 x Kingston 2GB DDR3-1333 Graphics: ATI Radeon HD5750 1GB DDR5
2. [Guide] P7P55D & i7 860 @ 2.8GHz

Hi guys, I've been trying with the same setup as the tutorial, except for the graphics adapter which is a radeon HD 5750. MyHack has been updated so far to version 1.1. The problem is I can't get usb to but. I mean the boot loader loads, it allows me to press any key to got to the options, but when I try to boot from DVD (usb stick's partition name) the screen goes black and I can do nothing. I'm guessing it must be because of the graphics card, but I can't find any fix. Can somenone help me please? I've been trying for a loong time to do this with no success and this time i found a setup which is basically the same as mine.. i feel so close (btw, sorry for my english ) Edit: I finally managed to boot to step 6), and then.. kernel panic.. Any ideas what might be happening?
3. Hi all, (first, sorry for my english if bad) I'm moving this subject from this thread, since i realised the problem is not the one discussed there. After buying my iPhone 3G i've been hours reading this forum looking for a stable way to run Leopard 10.5.4 on vmware so i could install the iPhone SDK. I've gone through several problems, but finally managed to get Leopard 10.5.5 running on vmware workstation 6.5 and installed iPhone SDK 2.1 with no problems.. It would be cool... but when I try to run Xcode, i get the error message "the application Xcode quit unexpectedly" What happens: - Dashcode -> Working - Instruments -> Working - Interface Builder -> Working - Quartz composer -> I don't have the right graphics card ("Quartz composer requires an Nvidia GeForce2, GeForce3..[]..A minimmun of 16mb VRAM is required") - Xcode -> "Application quit unexpectedly" Could the Xcode error be caused by the graphics card too? So I can do whatever i want with my new Leopard, except from developing, which is the only thing i wanted... Any suggestions? I'm on a Dell Inspiron 9400 Labtop
4. iPhone SDK seems to ruin OSX86 install

Something more about the iPhone SDK - Dashcode -> Working - Instruments -> Working - Interface Builder -> Working - Quartz composer -> I don't have the right graphics card - Xcode -> "Application quit unexpectedly" Could the Xcode error be caused by the graphics card too?
