grafikkid
Hey guys, I've got a quick question about software updates. I did do a quick search of the forum, but couldn't find anything specific enough. I installed 10.5.7 today using iATKOS v7 on a separate hard drive with no problems at all. So far EVERYTHING is working (knock on wood!) Here is my question: What is safe to update through "software update" and what isn't?** (I've attached an image of the list I'm getting.) Specs are in my signature... **I've read a few posts where people have said they updated to 10.5.8 using the software update...sounds risky to me. What do you guys think? Lord_Jeremy
As long as you don't use a custom kernel (which I'm guessing you don't since you didn't mention it), you should be fine updating everything via Software Update. You might want to hold off until someone else seconds my advice though, after all I am kinda new here ;-).
