tintin220
Hi everyone, I recently decided to build a p55/Intel i5 rig and want to install Snow Leopard on it. Given the fact that the 10.6.0/1 kernel does not support i5 natively, but the vanilla 10.6.2 kernel does, I was considering the following approach. I would simply clone my normal, non-Hackintosh Snow Leopard install over from my MacBook Pro onto the drive to be used with my i5 rig. Then, with my MBP, I would install PC EFI and all the other goodies required onto the cloned drive. After that, I'd put the drive into the desktop and boot it up from there. Would this method work? Are there any stipulations, etc that would prove problematic? Thank you very much!
