zombie4000
Well i decided to update to 10.6.2. Now the machine will not boot at all. It sits at "system uptime in nanoseconds". I had 10.6.1 working just fine. This problem happened with 10.6.1 but it was fixed by running the ktext installer option. Tried on 10.6.2 and I had no luck. Anyone have any troubleshooting steps? Using chameleon 2.0 boot loader, DX58SO mobo. thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/199203-1062-upgrade-failed/ Share on other sites

zombie4000
The only thing I have seen was people getting kernel panics. I am unsure if I am getting that since it is locking up after the system uptime. I have seen people deleting sleepenabler but I am unsure if that will work in my case. I have found the 10.6.2 sleepenabler. Should I replace that file with the new one or delete it? kerr
Yes, definitely ! And if you own ATI card you should replace your PC EFI with 10.5 version.
