curtjr4
Hello everyone! I got OS X 10.5.6 Kalyway AMD running very smoothly, however, I am having hardware issues. Are there drivers for the following hardware? 802.11g integrated Wireless LAN - Conecant Systems, Inc. AC'97 Sound Driver If there is such thing available, a SiS Mirage Graphics driver 10/100 integrated Ethernet controller I'd also like to say, OS X doesnt reconize any of these (Exclude Video) on the system. Thank you if there are some drivers out there! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/199195-os-x-hardware-any-drivers-available/ Share on other sites

There are any number of fixes for AC97 audio on the forum You will have to find the chipsets of the wireless & Ethernet eg BCM5751 A tip, the search on the forum does not always work, use google eg "insanelymac" + search term this may work Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/199195-os-x-hardware-any-drivers-available/#findComment-1340317 Share on other sites

curtjr4
No, I do not. It's running nativly. I have a flashdrive but OS X wont reconize it's presence. Maybe once I get enough files for OS X, I will just put them on a CD. I dont exactly know what to do about my internet adapters. Heres some info on them. Any of this usable? EDIT: I popped in another harddrive with XP into the machine, the wireless card's series is BCM43XX (According to Windows Computer Management). So what can I do now? Can somebody please provide a Broadcom BCM43XX (Wireless) compatible driver for Mac OS X 10.5.6? Very much appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/199195-os-x-hardware-any-drivers-available/#findComment-1340358 Share on other sites

curtjr4
Ok, apparently the first one did work. However, it will not play out of my laptops speakers, only the headphone jack. Is this a known problem and can be corrected or what? lol Thanks for the support guys Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/199195-os-x-hardware-any-drivers-available/#findComment-1340468 Share on other sites

curtjr4
Hmm, well I will need to see on the sound. Does anybody have an idea on how I can force OS X to operate in a higher resolution? It's stuck on the VESA Default (1024x768).
