errandwolfe
Well for starters what error message are you getting when you try to boot? Second, if this has been a quest of yours for 2 years might I suggest the very simple solution of using much more compatible hardware, maybe an Intel CPU and chipset. Not saying it can't be done with what you have (for that you should check the HCL), but if after TWO YEARS with the same hardware and that much time to review the hundreds of pages of articles this site has, maybe you need to try something a bit easier. Oh and taking a second look, maybe you want to select only a SINGLE kernel.... INSANE REINDEER
Well I haven't been at it non stop trying for 2 years. Its just been on and off when Ive had time to do it and heard about new versions. Well after I get it installed I type -v -f and it will show it loading kernels (matrix like) and then in the middle it will just reboot. By SINGLE kernel does it mean that i can't select things in the same category like "9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel" & "9.3.0 Sleep Kernel." I did reinstall it just selecting one network controller and it still did the same thing.
