AzN_DJ
Hi, I am trying to get Chameleon to boot into Snow Leopard without Kernel Panicing. At the moment, I am running fine using a Mars Boot Disk that I created a few months ago, but between then and now, I had suffered a stuff-up from installing 10.6.2 for some weird reason or another. I am also getting confused where to put extensions into the Extra folder. There seems to be /Volumes/EFI/Extra as well as /.Chameleon/Extra/ and from what I heard from other people, /Extra At the moment, my Snow Leopard is running on its own dedicated hard drive, so Im trying to simplify it. I do have Win7 and Ubuntu installed on a separate hard drive, but it will remain disconnected for now. What kexts are the most important to put into the Extra folder, which ones can only be in the Extra Folder, and not /System/Library/Extensions, and which ones will not do anything if they are in the Extra folder? System Specs: Mainboard: ASUS P5KPL-CM CPU: Intel Core2Quad 2.4Ghz (Q6600) RAM: 4096mb Kingston Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 250GB SATA Graphics: GEForce 7600 GS 256mb .......(I might upgrade this soon........) DVD rom is on SATA as well. Kexts being used: Fakesmc NullCPUPowerManagement OpenHaltRestart PlatformUUID VoodooHDA AttansicL1eEthernet Installed using MARS boot disk Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/198818-need-assistance-in-installing-chameleon/ Share on other sites
