quake
I just finished installing Iatkos v7 on my sata hd. The install went better than any other I have done yet. Finished in about 15-20 minutes. Now when it boots up, chameleon loads with the option of what drive to boot from, and when I choose Leopard, the pc just reboots and goes back to this screen. Can anyone give me a hint on what to do to get by this? Thanks. quake
Hi.i had the same problem and i'v done by reset at start up when give's you option F2 and F12 chose F2 go to boot option and change to boot from your hard drive where you install the osx I have done that. I tried a fresh install and it went well again. Now it just sits at the apple logo. When I boot with -v it stall at "still waiting for root device." I have a new GA-MA78LM MB. I have one IDE HD and one SATA HD. I have XP on my IDE hd and want osx on my sata. Iatkos7 seems to be the only one to recognize the SATA hd and it installs well,,except for the "waiting for root" part. I have tried playing with the jumper settings on both IDE devices but nothing seems to work. I'm going to try one more time with a fresh install and if that does not work I will try put xp on the sata drive and vice versa. Lord_Jeremy
The last time I had that problem it was being caused by my IDE drive. I solved it by upgrading to a SATA drive . Try disconnecting your IDE drive to see if it boots then.
