itry2hide
Hi All, First - My system is very stable under SL 10.6.0. I do have a couple of problems: Processor: About this Mac: Model Name: Mac Pro Model Identifier: MacPro2,1 Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processor Speed: 2.07 GHz MacPro2,1 - is that correct? I have an Gygabyte G31M-ES2L rev 2 mobo and an Intel Q9400 Core 2 quad at 2.66 GHz This may be a silly question, but could the processor only be running at 2.07 GHz? I guess I can fix these settings in the smbios.kext, right? -------- GPU - Zotac 9400 GT, 512 vram system Profiler- Unknown nVidia card: Chipset Model: Unknown nVidia card Type: GPU Bus: PCIe Slot: Slot-1 PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 512 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0641 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: xx.xx.xx - internal Displays: Display Connector: Status: No Display Connected CTX PV722 DVI: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Rotation: Supported I'm not sure I'm getting OpenGL support. From what system profiler tells me, openGL and Quart Extreme are not enable. Results from openGL extension viewer: Core Features -all at 100% except 3.0 Tests - with benchmark and transparency checked = 2.1 at about 84 FPS and 1.0 at 235 FPS So, how do I know if the extension are loaded and running? I have GraphicsEnabler turned on, and use Chameleon RC3 as my boot loader. NVinject keep saying it fails to get bios info (or something like that). I've rebuilt permission, etc. I know I'm supposed to put the device id into NVDAN* and NVDAResman. There are two plists in each package - version.plist and info.plist. What key should I use, and what plist does the device id go in? Thanks to all for any help.
