matty87a Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 hi i've has osx86 up and running for a while and have been waiting for the Voodoo 3945 wifi driver. now that the first version has been released i have tried to install the kext. everytime i do however it says that it has been installed properly and cannot be used. so far i have tried installing the latest io80211 family kext (same install error). repairing the disk permissions (no dice) and re downloading the kexts and clearing the caches. no joy. have also used kext helper but that doesnt work either. Lord_Jeremy Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 Wait, exactly what have you done that resulted in the message stating that the kext cannot be used? Have you rebuilt the kext cache by restarting and then using option -f? EDIT: Fixed the boot option.
