Yellowtang
Hi, just a short question does compiling a dsdt file come out to the same as patching your bios with a dsdt patch? i.e. does one still need to make a file when u have a patched bios rom? thanks! The DSDT file allows you to inject settings at boot time patching the BIOS will do you no good for these. OS X does not read your BIOS it has to be tricked in seeing the EFI it uses hence the injected settings among other things that the boot loader takes care of.
