I installed Kaly 10.5.2 fine, and I have to have my DVD in every time to boot.

I don't want that..I heard you needed a bootloader.

So I downloaded Chameleon 2 RC3 Installer. It installed, but no results on boot.

Then I installed OSx86 tools and installed Chameleon EFI, and I get this at boot:

b0: HFS

b0: something else

b0: done_

Then it just hangs there.

Please people, all I need is a bootloader on my computer so I dont have to have my Kalyway DVD in every time to boot! Kalyway is the only hard disk on my PC, no other partitions!

PLEASE HELP!!!

oh ya thx :)

Hmm. It's odd that Chameleon did not work. Have you gone to your BIOS and made sure that the OS X drive is the first hard drive in the boot order?

Ok I'm confused.

By saying that my OS X Drive is the first drive in the boot order as in

The first DRIVE to boot in the boot order

or the FIRST DEVICE in the Boot order?

Because there's only one HDD in my PC, and that's my OS X one.

My boot order starts with my DVD Drive.

Ok. Honestly I'm not sure what's wrong at this point. If you don't have any other hard drive installed then it's not what I was thinking. It might have to do with the distro you've chosen to use. Personally I've never used Kalway 10.5.2 so I don't know if that's a quirk of the version. Perhaps you could try installing a much newer distro, like iAtkos v7 or iDeneb 2. I know iAtkos provides the option to install and properly configure a number of bootloaders.
