jangoux
So, I was using OSx and needed to do a reboot, and after the reboot it would not boot anymore normally - i had to go into safe mode. I tried removing some kexts but nothing worked. So suddently it started not booting even in safe mode! I booted in my Windows 7 partition and every one of my FAT drives had data corruption errors, and after EVERY reboot, it keep giving my data errors. I booted with the ideneb dvd, ran disk utility and the osx partition also had errors - those were corrected boot it still isnt booting. So, now..is there anything i can do to avoid installing osx again ? Also, with those data corruption errors on every drive, i think something has a problem. Power supply ? Motherboard ? Memory ? What do you think ? Ivan Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/197766-osx-stopped-working-cant-boot-even-in-safe-mode/ Share on other sites
Lord_Jeremy
If you boot OS X into verbose mode, what kind of errors do you get? What kexts did you remove and did you rebuild the kext cache after removing them?
