I installed iatkos 10.5.5 on my dell xps m1330 and i got everything working. I upgraded to 10.5.8 via combo update on the osx update. Everything booted up but my keyboard and trackpad along with audio doesn't work anymore. Can someone give me a link of the needed drivers and what i need to do. Thanks.

For the keyboard/trackpad fix I would recommend using a USB keyboard and mouse, deleting the kext file out of the extensions folder for the PS/2 Driver, and then installing it in again. I have had great success with that method. If you will open a terminal window and type:

sudo rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext/ and input your password when prompted, then repeat with sudo rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext. You can then use OSX Tools to install these kexts 1 2 (It's easier than typing a command line) or you can try using this package.

For your audio, your laptop should have the SigmaTel sound card. The steps will be the same with the attached kext. It is AppleHDA.kext.

Let me know if that gets you up and running.

Successfully installed Keyboard-Trackpad_Fix.pkg on Thinkpad T500.

But Sound won't work. I can see the Icon in taskbar, but in system profiler the dialog for sound doesn't open.

Then tested VoodooHDA.kext with no success.

The display resolution is 1024x768 - no others are displayed.

Update: Now Sound works. I must open the Sound/Midi Settings directly from finder.
