DustyLBottoms
I need some advice please. I've succesfully installed iPC 10.5.6 on my Dell Inspiron B130. Everything works great! Now, I want to upgrade to 10.5.8. After reading various posts I have determined that I need to get the Combo Update, not the Auto Update. I now have the combo update, but if I try to apply, it creates an endless boot cycle. I've tried using the guide here: http://www.insanelymac.com/2009/08/update-...osh-osx86-1058/ But it doesn't work. I get script errors when I try & use OSx86 tools after the update but before the restart. And obviously after the restart nothing works. Do I have to use the iDeneb Combo update? Is there any way for me to use the Apple one? What exactly, am I doing wrong here? Thanks in advance. mikewill57
Dude, I can't even update to 10.5.5 from 5.4. It's driving me insane. I will say, probs try the combo update from Apple though.
