Pandar
Hi I have an mkext file that has been working great on my GA-EP35-DS3P, but to do the 10.6.2 update I need to unpack it and remove or replace the sleepenabler.kext file. I have tried everything I can think of, and keep getting a message from every app I use saying it can't unpack the contents. The trouble is, it's the only solution I've found that gives me sound, sleep, and all other fixes. I'm hoping someone is smarter than me! Thanks Pandar Extensions.mkext.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/197075-need-someone-smarter-than-me-help-unpacking-an-extensionsmkext-file/ Share on other sites

Thanks Pandar Use Kext Utility Link Drag and drop new kext in window. It will replace old one. Pandar
Use Kext Utility Link Drag and drop new kext in window. It will replace old one. I already tried that. The very latest one like the link you sent. Just for grins, give the file a try on your computer.... if you feel like it. Thanks Pandar If it did not remove then remove it manually by dragging to the trash, then open the program and drag and drop, it should fix permissions. Thanks Pandar Hi I'm new too, and I try the guide from netkas.org but for some reason i can't, but i find this great automatic install, the problem is that it is for a specific mother, so anyway i try and before run the combo update 10.6.2 replace the file "DSDT.aml" on the folder Extra with my own DSDT.aml of my mother intel. and for me works, try at your own risk ok. In theory the model you have and the model apear is only one number but may not work. Good Luck!!!!. http://stellarola.tumblr.com/post/23846198...-update-ud3p-v3 P.D. thanks to stell's for this terrific work!!
