whaase
This may sound a bit dumb, but all these different options for install really confuse me lol I installed iatkos v7, which installed Chameleon v2 automatically. Is this still considered a "vanilla install"? I can update from Apple with no issues, all my hardware is working now. I'm just wondering if I should re-install using the vanilla method or just keep what I have and continue with it? I guess I'm confused as to what the difference is between the 2? Thanks! roberdo
If you have no issues with your current installation - why not keep it as it is. You can consider it as an vanilla installation - however there might be some kernel extensions in your system library which are not necessary. So it's not the same as an pure vanilla installation, probably the result is the same. Normally unnecessary kexts do not automatically hurt, so don't worry.
