Broadcom 0715

Hi folks this is my first post here:

 

I'm following this tutorial:

It seems to go ok until I type:

kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions

 

It says 'Permission denied'

 

Then, trying to edit interface config - I don't appear to have such a file.

 

Any idea where I'm going wrong.

 

I'm running 10.5.3 on a Dell Inspiron 5150 with a Broadcom USB wifi adaptor, Product ID 0x0715.
