sandsax Posted November 9, 2009 Share Posted November 9, 2009 I try to instal a powercolor ATI HD 4670 and its seem that works in about this mac / more info ... See the attachment ... But the samsung display is reconized and configured with the right resolution and refresh rate, but the monitor dont work ... I have a GMA 3100 and throught this i can see the system and do this prints of screen ... Somebody can help me!!! ???? Im using Atkos 1.5.7 and Gigbabyte G31-Esl2 Intel core 2 duo and 2 gg ram .... In portuguese .. im brazilian... Comprei uma ATI HD 4670 e no sistema ela aparece com a configuracao certa e mostra no about this mac/more info ... a placa configurada como 4600 e QE e Qi funcionando sendo que quando vai iniciar a tela o monitor se apaga .... Alguem pode me ajudar ? Eu uso uma GMA 3100 e nela eu consigo ver o sistema e fiz estes prints de tela. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Petty jealousy over your proximity to beautiful Brazilian women. Seriously, I'm on a vanilla install and my try the new 10.6.2 to see if it resolves my issue. It addresses specifically ATI cards. sandsax Posted November 25, 2009 Author Share Posted November 25, 2009 I do the upgrade to Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and it boot ok but the video driver is GMA 3100 not x3100 and resolution 1024x... Try to do a netkas instruction with new boot cd with Chamaleon but the boot crash with ATIX2000.kext and so I remove it from System/Lib../Extension and do a normal boot in 64 bits and 32 bits and its rum ok but Ati Radeon 4670 powercolor don´t works. I do the post of the crash that happen when I try to install the ATIX2000.kext with Kext Helper in my SL 10.6.2 the message it´s equal happen during boot with -v -f. See the images attacheds... sandsax Posted November 30, 2009 Author Share Posted November 30, 2009 I do the instalation of ati inject in Snow Leopard with EFI 10.5 and Ati Inject dowloaded from netkas.org and the video card is reconized of snow leopard but the monitor display dont show nothing conected. Yet something!!! Observation I have a onboard GMA 3100 not GMA X3100 and its works only 1024x768x32.
