kalel83
"Still waitiing for root Device" means that it doesn't have chipset drivers. so its unable to see sata/ata drives at all. maybe you should fix what it says it can't load and post that message on here exactly Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/196583-still-waiting-for-root-device-problem/#findComment-1324071 Share on other sites
Jamesisnotonfire
Try changing in the bios the ide/sata mode to AHCI it fixes the problem for a lot of people Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/196583-still-waiting-for-root-device-problem/#findComment-1324082 Share on other sites
