sanseven
So I thought that I had done my research and I thought my setup would work, who was I kidding. I keep getting the message "waiting for root device" so I need to know if my computer is a lost cause or not. Here is my set up Asus M2A-VM mobo Amd 4850e processor Dual Core Geforce 9500 gt 120 gb hdd IDE Realtek HD Audio So I tend to get an error that starts with USBF:. I can't get past this point it also says something like OHCI something about sleep. When I boot it normally I get the box with the circle and line through it. I have read around and people are saying to change the bios setting to ahci instead of ide but I think i changed this with no luck. currently I have tried IPC maybe beta, Leo4all, Ideneb, and I am getting Xxx 10.5.6 right now. So please if anyone has any ideas or knows anything that can help that would be great. Somehow do i need to edit the install before hand?
