clipper99
I posted this a while back in the Graphics Driver section but I think its worth a mention here. With my setup, using Netkas' PC EFI 10.x method, my secondary monitor will not work unless it is plugged into the bottom DVI port. That is, the port closest to the motherboard. Its seems odd to me as the PC side of the world doesn't really care what ports my monitors are plugged into but hey, whatever works! Sooooo, to make a short story long, if you have a similar setup and are pulling your hair out trying to get your second monitor to work, try swapping connections with your primary display. If this is common knowledge then I've failed to read this anywhere but after a year of reading posts on this board, its all a blur to me anyhow! Cheers Gigabyte EP45-UD3P XFX HD4870 1GB 4GB Lifehacker install method (using XFX 8800GT 512MB for the install, then using Netkas' method to swap out for the XFX Radeon) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/196457-xfx-radeon-hd4870-dual-monitor-weirdness/ Share on other sites
