Hi guys,

I have a perfectly working 10.5.8 on my AMD computer, with ASUS EAH 3650, I use natit kext hd3650 10.5.x-10.5.5 (10.5.5-10.5.x version didn't work, I dunno why)

anyways,

I can update the system with software update (original one, not zephyroth's amd updater), and until today I did all the updates it asks me to do, but today, it says I should update the firmware of my graphics card,

________Original Text in Software Update window___________

ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT Firmware Update

This update is for Mac Pro computers with one or more ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT graphics cards installed, running Mac OS X 10.5.2 or later with the Leopard Graphics Update.

It updates the ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT graphics card firmware on all of the ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT graphics cards in the Mac Pro to improve system stability.

Installing this update on a 2.8 GHz Mac Pro system configured with multiple hard drives or more than 2GB of RAM will result in the system meeting Energy Star 3.0 requirements.

Now, I don't know what hd 2600 xt is but I think it's definetely not my card, but leopard thinks it is, so I don't wanna try this update and screw my card, instead I want this update not to be asked again.

or

if hd 3650 and this 2600xt firmwares are the same (which I don't think so), should I do this update, what du you think?

anyone know a way to prevent software update to show this update again?

__________info about my card as shown in system profiler_______
