Alessandro17
Mandriva Linux 2010 has been released. I loved it. The installer is extremely simple, only a few steps. Chances are you can accept all the defaults. Booting is also very fast. But what really impressed me is their implementation of KDE4. No longer I find that KDE4 is missing functionality, everything is easy to find and use. They have managed to combine KDE3 functionality and KDE4 new features. Artwork is also very nice. Their default screensaver is a slideshow of beautiful pictures. Gnome is no second class citizen, it is also quite polished. Overall: a distribution to love and, if you are looking for a Windows replacement, you couldn't find any better. http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=05749 A review by DistroWatch: http://distrowatch.com/weekly.php?issue=20091109#feature Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/196361-mandriva-linux-2010-released/ Share on other sites
