Hello All, I really need help with this so your help will be really appreciate it. I got a Dell Latitude D530 and I have Leopard 10.5.5 on it which work pretty nice. One of my friend that left the town was the one that install Leopard in my computer but now I want SL on it. I dont want to mess it up that is why Im asking for help. I downloaded this SnowOsx_Universal 10.6 v3.5. What else will I need in order to have Sl running on my computer. sorry Im not a geek as you guys. please help this is what I have

 

Processor 1.6 Ghz Intel Core 2 duo

Memory 2 GB 667 Mhz DDR SDRAM

SERIAL ATA

 

What other info you guys need to help me out.

Anyone on this forum is a Geek if they like it or not.

 

I dont really recommend you do this with out reading thru the forums very carefully, maybe make a clone of your system to another drive that you can boot from.

 

It is not straight forward to make this install as I dont believe you can use the vanilla kernel.

 

There are some installers around to help you patch the SL install but its trial and error as to what method will work, google and these forums should contain most of the info you need.
