allnamesr2
I have been thinking of getting this very board. or the regular non deluxe board. i thought it would be an easy vanilla install of osx. but I would be happy with a distro on it as well. i only want to use logic and pages. with few other mac only apps. i hope you find your solution. allnamesr2
i dont know how much i can help as i dont have any experience with the osx86. im in the stage of building a compatible computer to try and researching the parts atm. it will also be the first computer i build. but i did spend a few hours reading and searching here is what i found so far. im not sure where i read it cause i cant find it anymore (someone correct me if im wrong). But i think you should not link to sites that is of the same nature of this forum. Its only allowed in the case where it is helpful. my interpretation of this is if you are using a tutorial here and you find a youtube that helps in a tough part then its okay. anyways when i have a few more hours to kill i will be searching a bit more and will help as i can. but i will be reading on other boards and other parts too. it does not look like you got very far so i would say to take a look on this thread here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1059187 something in there should help. ill post back again later Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/196031-install-on-pc-asus-p6t-i7-cpu/#findComment-1321793 Share on other sites

Hope someone could help me! I'm just starting to experiment with my P6T motherboard and on my initial attempt, I got the exact same kernel panic. I haven't gotten much further, as I'm currently reading myself up on several issues etc. Have you had any more success? I'll try to post back with updates if I have any luck.
