It would be appreciated if anyone can help me out here

Some general notes:

DO NOT install any VGA/Sound/LAN/WLAN drivers upon installation. Install them later on working system.

Geforce 7900GS - try ether ATI_init or CoreVidia (both working perfectly, but I prefer CoreVidia). be sure to uninstall any previously installed VGA driver and/or EFI strings.

Managed to Get system booting without iATKOS DVD and rd=disk0s2 - install a boot loader (EFIv8-v10, Chameleon)

Belkin - http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t106672.html

Got my Ethernet Working - don't get it you have "i disabled ethernet in BIOS" bit confusing...

About install option:

see the above

why installing azalia sound if you have SoundBlaster working?

Ok thanks for the reply im going to do a fresh install and try and dig into all that stuff, ive done so many reinstalls ive confused myself, at 1 point i have resolution changing working, cant remember how i did it.... Ethernet is disabled as i really only need wifi.

Reinstalling now, ill post back in a a few mins

BTW my card is the Belkin 7001UK which funnily enough worked out of the box in kalyway 10.5.1 would it be possible for me to get networking Kexts from the kaly and put into my iATKOS 10.5.7?

GOt a panic, (no HPETS available) CPUs configured incorrectly\n"@sourcecache/AppleIntelCPUPowermaagement/AppleIntelCPUPowermanagement-76/plThread.c:155

debugger called panic

strange i havent had that before, any ideas?

Ok removed AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement, and am booting without the DVD in the drive at all,

im seeing something about wl0 Btoadcom BCM4318 802.11 Wireless Controller in the bootup screen but then im getting still waiting for root device even after entering rd=disk0s2 in the chameleon boot options.... am going to try and install VIA Sata drivers, this install i have only installed COREVIDIA and JMICRON in the installer....

Ok installed Via ATA and now no more waiting for root device, but getting a black screen and can just move the mouse around, im guessing that is video, im going to try and install a different Nvidia driver...
