nikk Posted June 12, 2006 Share Posted June 12, 2006 DVD: Sony DRU-810 It's strange, but I always have error on essentials package during install Mac OS X from this drive. Also, I have errors Extracting some contents from DVD, not all packages... Think it's hardware issue, cause I've try different versions: 10.4.6, 10.4.3 and that distros can be installed from the same media and external USB DVD Drive without an error... Sony drive seems to be good, it read, verifies and write data without errors in Windows and Mac OS, only install and partial extracts via Pacifist failed...
