dewlite
EDIT: Reposted in Buying Thoughts, Reviews, and Recommendations because I think that is where it really belongs After reading through some of the great work being done on the HP Mini 311 project here on the forums, I was all set to pick up a HP Mini 311 except for the discussion that Apple may be killing off Atom chipset compatibility. I needed to replace my laptop due to an emergency and happened upon the T135-S1309 at Best Buy for $550. Everything I needed or wanted in a new laptop without having to do any initial upgrades. ( SU4100 Dual Core Chip, 3gb RAM, 360 Gig HD, 13.3 1376x786 LCD, LED Back lit, Wireless N) Basic Specs: http://laptops.toshiba.com/laptops/satellite/T100/T135-S1309 Spec Sheet: http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/pr..._T135-S1309.pdf I did however try to run a Vanilla install but could not get past the Snow Leopard on a USB thumb drive booting up, Spin Wheel and never getting to the language selection, instead getting a prompt to turn off my computer. Used both Netboot Maker and other guides, no progress. Is anyone else interested in looking at this decent set of hardware and seeing if we the Toshiba T135 might be a candidate for the Hackintosh Air?
