MatzeOS86
Hello! I've managed to install Snow Leopard on my computer and nearly everything works fine. But when I want to shutdown my computer, it reboots, so the OpenHaltRestart kext doesn't work. Same problem with hibernation, but whats the problem? I've the 64bit versions and they work with other X58 motherboards. Hopefully someone can help me. Echo92
Hi, I found that OpenHaltRestart didn't work when shutting down, but replacing it with EVOReboot (from http://www.osx86.es/ ) helped to properly shut down my computer. It's worth a shot, although I don't know if it works under 10.6.2.
