nau
Hi could you please help me with installing Retail to my system: ASRock P45XE-R (Intel® P45, Intel® ICH10R, ALC890, 2 х Realtek RTL8111B/RTL8111C) CPU Pentium® Dual-Core CPU E2210 @ 2.20GHz (MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, EM64T) VGA NV 9800GTX 1Gb RAM 2Gb 800 using generic iso i can't move longer than gray screen with Apple logo (using -v last string is using XXXX buffer.... and halt forever). With custom kext added (i had tried a lot of ISO's and even made custom ISO with all the kext i had seen in ISO's already) i'm getting error message tellin me to reboot (using -v i can see kernel panic "no HPET found: incorrectly configured CPU") What else i need to do? Is CPU my problem? it doesn't look the one Apple use, could this be an problem? thanks in advance Anton Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/195158-need-help-on-installing-retail-1056/ Share on other sites

vilpostus
Try other 132 disk versions. There are many versions, containing different sets of kexts. vilpostus
As for the screenshot, you have problems with AppleIntelCPUPowerManagment.kext. Usualy this kext must be disabled. It doesn't work properly on a PC platform. So be sure to use a disabler.kext. This will prevent AppleIntelCPUPowerManagment.kext from loading.
