onemoretime
I picked this up today, with the intention of dual booting 10.5.5 on it ( since I already have the install disk for it ). I have been searching the better part of the day and have not found any links to where anyone has loaded a mac os on one. This has the celeron t3000 processor and the gl40 chipset intel gma 4500m. 2 gig of ram. the rest of my specs Specs Can anyone give me some solid advise as to which os I can install? I would really like to put snow leopard on it? worse case I can go for it and see what happens. Mr. Surge
I just tried it. iPC 10.5.6 will not get past the startup screen, then I tried a Snow Leopard install from a USB hard drive I patched from my mac mini (just a core OS install, no drivers or fonts, etc.) , it installed without a hitch. Except... the keyboard, trackpad, wifi, optical drive, power management (which is also how you see your battery life) CI, and QE all don't work. And there are no drivers that I can find that will completely fix any of this. It really isn't worth the 2 hours of your life you will lose installing it, unless you just want to show your friends that you figured out how to run OSX on a Toshiba laptop (but then, on the other hand, they probably don't care).
