vilpostus
Try another driver, like VoodooHDA. Be sure to uninstall any previous sound driver before installing a new one. vilpostus
To remove a driver (kext in OS X terms) go to /System/Library/Extensions and find the Audio kext you have installed. Remove it. Download/install OSx86Tools. Download VoodooHDA. Use OSx86Tools to install it (install kext button). Then open the disk utility and click repair permissions. Be sure to backup extensions using OSx86Tools before any manipulations with /System/Library/Extensions!!!
