Hello all,

I'm having a bit of trouble installing 10.5.6 on my PC.

I'm following this guide, and have downloaded iPC_OSx86_10_5_6_Universal_PPF5_Final (probably best not linking to the torrent?)

Everything seemed to be going well until it came to boot for the first time. At the darwin bootloader I typed in the following boot flags:

-v -r

After a bit of whirring it stops on the

following.

Here's what I have:

MOBO: Asus P5N-D

GFX: 8800 GTS OC (almost sure the 320mb one might be the 512mb one though, is it important?)

CPU: Q6600

RAM: 2GB DDR2 800mhz

HDD: 250GB SATA

I know customizing the install is important, so from this list I picked the following:

Video Drivers

NVinject 0.2.1 320MB VRAM (for my gfx card)

Chipset Drivers

AppleNForceATA nForce Drivers

Audio Drivers

AC97 Audio

And thats it.

Anybody any ideas why this isn't working?

Thanks for reading

Try booting with "-x cpus=1"

Look here - Underrun Problem, found at pcwiz site.

Thanks for the quick reply, I will try when I get home at 5 (GMT) and post back.

That worked -_- Thanks very much!

Just a couple of things though:

I can't get my Ethernet to work, I don't think it is being recognised. Is there a way to add drivers for this after the initial install?

Also, my audio isn't working. Do I need to install the drivers for this as well?
