ic3dcube
Hi, I tried Parallels desktop 4.0, VMware Fusion 2.0 and now VMware fusion 3.0 and they all install fine but as soon as i try to run a virtual machine the cpu goes up to near 100% and renders it unusable. Tried searching all over google and forums for a solutions but no go. Any idea why? Embio
my machine did this until I removed a PCI ethernet card and a PCI USB card (neither had OS X drivers) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194787-help-any-vm-on-snowleopard/#findComment-1313725 Share on other sites

ic3dcube
I took the sound card out and fired up vmware fusion again and the problem still persists.. guess that didnt work for me. I went into task manager in windows xp through vmware and the system idle process if jumping continuously up and down between 30-100% cpu usage Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194787-help-any-vm-on-snowleopard/#findComment-1313746 Share on other sites
Embio
it will do that in a VM anyway - task manager is not reliable when there is no physical processor for timings.
